Mirror Mirror: A Book of Reversible Verse
By: Marilyn Singer
Summary: This book contains many fairytales told in a poem form. However, there are two poems to every fairytale, one told from top to bottom and the other told from bottom to top. Interestingly, when read in the opposite direction, the meaning of the poem changes, even though no words were added, deleted, or changed. The poems are a great way to teach children about different perspectives in any situation.
Interest Level: 2nd – 5th Grade
Reading Level/Grade Level: 3.0 (beginning of 3rd Grade)
